Our privacy policy, in plain terms

This page describes exactly what this site collects and what it does with it. Last updated 19 August 2026.

What you send us

The only information this site asks you for is what appears in the request form: your name, email address, an optional phone number, the ZIP code of the property, which service you think applies, and your description of the tree or property concern.

We use it to reply to you and to work out what your situation needs. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to advertisers or lead brokers.

The form submission is transmitted to our own intake system over an encrypted connection. Along with what you typed, the submission records the time you submitted it, the browser user-agent string, and the page you submitted from — kept as evidence of when and how the enquiry was made.

How many people visited

This site counts pageviews using a small first-party script that sends four things to a server we control: the hostname, the page path, a random identifier stored only for the current browser session, and the referring URL if your browser supplied one.

That session identifier is generated in your browser, held in sessionStorage, and disappears when you close the tab. It is not linked to your name, your email, or anything you type into the form. If your browser blocks storage, the pageview is still counted and simply is not grouped into a session.

What this site does not do

It sets no cookies. It runs no third-party analytics, no advertising pixels, no remarketing tags, no social media trackers, no session recording, and no heatmaps.

It loads no fonts, maps, scripts, or other resources from Google or from any other third-party host. Everything the page needs is served from this domain.

It does not build a profile of you across sites, because it has no mechanism to.

How long we keep things

Enquiries are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them for the work and for our own records. Pageview counts are aggregate and are not tied to an identifiable person.

Your choices

You can ask us what enquiry information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the request form and say so — it reaches the same place.

California residents have specific rights over personal information under state law, including the right to know what is collected and to request deletion. The request form is how to exercise them here. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

Children

This site is intended for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date at the top. There is no mailing list, so there is no notification to send.
